GRAPHIC DESIGN
It's about communication, visual communication. It's the use of visual elements likewise that there's a message in there and there's a cohesiveness in how the message is presented. it's not about how many elements are loaded in this piece of design. it's about how the elements are presented that's truly what differentiates a pro designer from a novice: the mastery of how to combine the visual elements to send a message or provoke a feeling or cause an action from the viewer is called Graphic Design.
Tools Necessary to Become a Graphic Designer
1: Canva, pixel lab for Android users, and adobe photoshop for pc users.
2: internet access.
What Are Visual Elements? If you take a look at any piece of design around you, you'll find one or more of these features in it.
1. LINE: this is Mark connecting two points. The line can be straight, curved, fat, thin, squiggly, dashed, or patterned.
Uses of lines
- Composition
- Organize information
- Highlight
- Connect
- Outline Etc.
2. SHAPE: shapes are best understood as areas, forms, or figures contained by a boundary or closed outline.
Uses of shapes in graphic design
✅To symbolize an idea
✅ Highlight an information
✅ Make text or photos more interesting by masking.
3. TEXT: When you're choosing a font or creating your typography for a project, It's important to make sure the type you used is legible and appropriate for your subject.
✅ Text affects the overall mood of a design, so consider whether your letters should be printed or script, and whether they should have angles that are Sharp or rounded.
4. IMAGE In graphic design whether designers used Photographs or illustrations. they rely on images to draw the audience's attention and express specific messages.
5. COLOUR: Colour is a very useful tool for communicating a mood or provoking an emotional response from your viewer.
there are types of color in Graphic design which include;
a: WARM COLORS; generally energizing, passionate, and positive.
b: COOL COLORS: e.g., colors of night, of water, of nature, and are usually calming, relaxing, and somewhat reserved.
c: NEUTRAL COLORS: it serves as the backdrop in design and impressions of neutral colors are much more affected by the colors that surround them than warm and cool colors.
There are also COLOUR MEANINGS in Graphic designs.

6. TEXTURE: Texture is the feel of a surface --(furry, smooth, rough, soft, gooey, or glossy). The texture is very important when an object you are bringing to your design has poor quality, your design will be affected

i: How elements are used together
ii: Movement; This is the use of lines, color, and repetition to create the illusion of motion. for instance; ✅ Curved forms or lines ✅ Repetition of geometric forms ✅ Fuzzy lines or outlines.
iii: Balance; This is the act of comparing or estimating two things, one against the other, and the contrast between them. ✅ space (white space) and filled space ✅ Text and images ✅ Color and no colors and different colors ✅ Textures against flat colors.
iv: EMPHASIS:- This is to express with particular stress or force. for instance, 'What message is stressed here?
v: Unity; It is the correct balance of composition or color that produces a harmonious effect. E.g. What is the focus of the message?

CONCLUSION: The basis of good graphic design is the use of design elements and their thoughtful application in the form of design principles. Identify what you are trying to accomplish — use design to convey your message!!!!
