2021 UTME/DE APPLICATION
Applications are inverted from qualified candidates for admission into the high institutions in Nigeria 2021 academic session .
REGISTRATION DURATION (UTME/DE)
The period of registration for all UTME and Direct Entry candidates including those from foreign countries is from Thursday 18th April 2021 to 15th May 2021.
PIN VENDING
The pin vending ends on Monday 10th May 2021 ,while the registration portal closes on Saturday 15th May 2021`
which was later extended from 5th June to 19th June 2021
while UTME commerce from 19th June to 5th July.
REGISTRATION FEE / PROCUREMENT OF REGISTRATION ePIN
For the 2021 UTME ,candidates are required to pay sum amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3500) ONLY as a registration fee and additional Five Hundred (N500) Naira only is paid to obtain the reading text "The Life Changer" by Khadija Abubakar Jali for UTME candidates and DE candidates. Seven Hundred Naira (N700) is regulated and charged for CBT cente service charge and $20 is the application fee for candidates from the eight foreign centers.
ELIGIBILITYCHECKER
All 2021/2022 candidates are advised to check their eligibility for chosen programmes and institutions onhttp://www.jamb.gov.ng
it is necessary that candidates check the requirement process prior commencing the application process .However the eligibility checker assists candidiates with options of the programmes(course) based on their qualification.
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT (DE)
DE closes the same day with UTME application .
any candidiates with two pass in prescribed subjects for each programmes (course of study) at "A" LEVEL Examination of IJMB, CAMBRIDGE, JUPEB OR INSTITUTE OF BACCALAUREATE with SSCE/GCE . NIS/NBC Credits equivalent in three subjects may considered admission through DE.
To be considered admission through DE you must have atleast "O" level credit pass in five {5} SSCE subject at not more than two sittings with a minimum of two prescribed subject for each programmes (course of study) at principal or "A" LEVEL.
Minimum of lower credit grade in National Diploma or National Innovation Diploma and "O" level requirement.
Passes in two major subjects in NCE with SSCE, NIS/NBC credits or equivalents in three other subjects (mainly fot Educational course) and ND.

ORDER OF CHIOCE OF INSTITUTIONS
Any institution can be first choice consequently every candidiate is to note his or her 1st choice can be college of Education, University, Innovation Enterprise institution, Polytechnic/monotechnic, Nigeria Defence Academy or police academy .
PROCESS OF 2021 UTME/DE REGISTRATION
1: Creation of profile; Every candidate is require to create a profile using a unique phone (mobile) number for the process of registration . the unique phone number cab be used by only one candiiate .
NOTE: this number (sim) remains your unique identification for all your transactions with the JAMB.
2: Candidate will send his or her National Identification Number(NIN) by text(sms) to 55019 from his or her personal phone number.
for instance ; write the word NIN then space and add your 11 digit NIN and send to 55019 in this format (NIN 12345678900).
3: A profile of ten characters will be received by the candidate on the same telephone number used upon creation of profile.

4: Candidate will provide the profile code at the point of procurement of application document (from Banks, MMO's Switches, USSD partners) .An epin is then sent as text to the candidate's phone number.
5:candidiate will provide the profile code and epin at any jamb acreditated CBT center for registration.
6:Application is invalid if the candidate's biometrics did not captured accordingly.
7:Only candidiates whose biometrics verification is successful on examination day would be allowed to partake the UTME.
8:Candidiates with biometric challenges can only register at Jamb headquarter.
BELOW IS HOW TO RETRIEVE PROFILE CODE
TO retrieve a lost jamb profile code simply send the word (RESEND) from the same mobile number to 55019 as text message.
Candidiates can also reset their profile password on their registered phone number by sending the word { PASSWORD}space {EMAIL ADDRESS} to the same phone number as a text message to 55019.
HOW TO RECOVER LOST ePIN AFTER PAYMENT
IF ePin is not recieved or lost ,send (UTME) or(DEPIN) fronm the same registered phone number to 55019 for UTME or DE respectively then the ePin will be delivered to the candidiates unique phone number immediately.
