or group that try to deviate from due
process by charging the candidates
above He said, “It has
come to the knowledge of the Board
that agents of certain registered sale
outlets are vending the JAMB registration
ePINs at a cost higher than the prescribed
fee.
This was contained in the reports of the
various monitoring teams sent round
some of the selling points across the
country.
, on Tuesday, 14th January,
2020, during a tour of a vending point,
four agents namely: Abdulrasak Adiza,
Matthew Joe, Obekee Godday, and
Inyang Patrick were apprehended for
selling the ePINs above the prescribed
fee. The similar case occurred on Wednesday, 15th
January, 2020, one Amodu Friday was
apprehended for committing the some
infraction.
Consequently, the Board has revoked
the licences of the outlets involved in the
fraudulent act so as to send a warning
signal to others. The arrested agents
would be arraigned soon. It is on this note
that we appeal to all outlets to register
only credible tellers for vending."
