It is very annoying if you could not meet up with the score / count off mark of your choice of institution or course chosen but don't worry I wil guide you on how to change course /institution.
Where some candidate got stacked was when they got 180 in jamb and their choice of institution jamb count of mark is still 180 and PUTME is 180 or 200 as case maybe . but even though the candidate score 180 in jamb and 180 in post UTME yet he or she was denied Admission . And another candidate who score 180 and 170 was given admission
Reason why you was denied admission :
1: your average score did not meet up with the departmental count off mark.
So ,in other not to waste your precious time I advise you to request for change of course
Or change of institution because the departmental count off of institutions differs.
How to request for change or course/institutions
1:You shall be required to create a profile via the Sign Up (New User) Page if you are a new user. For existing users, simply type in your login details. To create your profile, you will provide your valid email address, surname, first name, Mobile No, State and LGA of Origin and password, then click on the Sign Up button. Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.
2: Subsequently, you shall use your email address and password to sign in.
3:Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.
I:Select “Correction of Data”. This is available on the side bar or on the Home page
II: Once selected, the menu item “Course/Institution” will be revealed. Click this.
III:Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
Check the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in a bold red font. The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.
IV:Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
V:Click On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.
The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the Continue button.
Note: A token (OTP) will sent to you as message vai your bank registered cell phone number once you entered your ATM card details but don't minimize or leave the page if you are operating on the phone where the same registered Mobile phone number rather scroll down your phone screen gently and use pen and paper write the sent code then scroll up your phone screen and enter the token (OTP)
Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following: a. Year of Exam and b. JAMB Registration Number
After entering the information correctly, new options for Preferred course/Institution and second choices will appear. Options available will be based on availability.
Click Submit to complete your application.
JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.
HOW TO CHANGE OR CORRECT YOUR NAME ON JAMB PROFILE

NOTE: IF YOU ARE USING SMART PHONE TO ACCESS THE JAMB PORTAL I ADVISED YOU USE CHROME BROWSER CLICK ON RED BIG DOT AT THE TOP MOST RIGHT OF THE BROWSER CLICK ON IT THEN SCROLL DOWN AND CLICK ON DESKTOP SITE.
THIS WE HELP TO DISPLAY ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED BUTTONS ON THE SCREEN AT ONCE. JUST LIKE PC
ONCE IT TURNED INTO PC SITE PORTAL ON YOUR PHONE USE YOUR TWO FINGERS AND ZOOM IT FOR CLEAR VIEW.
Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.

After submission, an Indemnity Form will be displayed for printing.
This is to be filled and taken to your institution for Approval.
Your institution will be responsible for submission of the approved form to the JAMB state office.
Once received, the Approved form will be uploaded to your profile. You will receive a notification when this is done.
